The Human Rights, Media, Peace and Democratization Program aims to promote the respect for human rights, equal access to government services, media professionalism and strengthening of democratic systems and processes.
Several aspects in the Philippine society still lacks the fundamental elements of democracy and many sectors have been deprived access to democratic institutions and processes. PCSDI has been at the forefront of promoting people empowerment in the southern part of the country including the promotion of women’s rights, indigenous people’s claim of their ancestral domain, peace-building and development and professionalism of the media sector.
Ecolink Women’s Network
